Latest Work

Coping Stones – My most recent project is inspired by collecting pebbles on the beach and the pleasure you get when turning them over in your hands. Called Coping Stones (a play on words), they help you cope. As beautiful as they are individual, they can be used as an aid to meditation as well as looking gorgeous, they feel calming nestled in the hand.

About Me

The fluid, streamlined shapes of creatures of the sea are a a gift for an artist and I have been drawn to seals and sea birds and their ever changing postures since walking along the beach on Arran as a child. This is my starting point and one that continues to fascinate me.

A Little Intro

A product of Scotland and living on the edge of The Peak District, I am continually inspired by the wildlife that I see. Birds and sea creatures are a particular interest as well as woodland and moorland animals. I love the serendipitous nature of smoke firing clay.

My Exhibitions

My work has been seen in over 20 galleries from the Orkneys to The Channel Islands and many places in between. I regularly show my work with Peak District Artisans in venues throughout the Peak District and you can see the galleries I have stock in by going to the Galleries/stockists page. Forthcoming and recent events are also listed on a separate page.
